COLORADO TORPEDOES SWIM TEAM

The Colorado Torpedoes Swim Team is a community-based organization and offers one of the finest summer swim programs in the Manitou Springs and Colorado Springs area.  We stress individual development; team spirit and competitiveness at each level, and most importantly, enjoy the sport of swimming.

We have approximately 80 swimmers ranging in ages from 4 years to 20 years of age.  The swim season runs from April 1st  through August 3rd.  Swimmers receive 15 hours of weekly instruction and weekly swim meets with other teams in the Manitou Springs and Colorado Springs areas.  Meet attendance averages 400 people a meet with 4,000 – 5,000 participants at the League Championship and State Championship meet.  We are governed by the guidelines of CSI (Colorado Swimming, Inc., with over 70+ teams in Colorado) and USA Swimming Our website www.coloradotorpedoes.com is linked to their website at www.csi.org. 

Our expenses each season include coaches’ salaries, equipment maintenance and replacement, CSI/USA dues and insurance fees, pool rental fees, ribbons, medals, trophies, etc.  Registration fees cover only about 70% of the money we spend on each swimmer.  It is our objective to keep registration fees low to make it affordable activity for the entire family and to allow families to join our team who cannot afford the full program cost by offering scholarships.  You can easily understand the necessity for corporate sponsorship and the reason we are asking for your support.

Sponsorship/Donation Levels

There are several different sponsorship levels to suit every local businessperson. 

*Gold Medal Sponsors (donating $300 and above) will receive added advertising exposure with commercial time over PA system at each home swim meet, and predominant logo on website.

• Advertisement within the heat sheets for home meets.  Ad size pricing as follows:

Gold Medal Sponsors – Full page - $300                  

Silver Medal Sponsors – Half page -$225

Bronze Medal Sponsors – Quarter page - $150      

Includes listing on website. 

Blue Ribbon Sponsors - Business card page-  $100

One Time Advertisement – Business card page $25

Swimmer’s Ad -  $5 per ad – swimmer’s  advertisement for babysitting, lawn care, pet sitting etc.

• Donations of food, candy, drinks, ice, paper goods, etc. for our concession stand.
• Your logo customer gift items and/or gift certificates for swimmers and volunteer’s awards.
